Falling Statues

Six shifting stone arms
An agonizing short blast
Grey dust entwined with twilight
Wind stricken ruins
Engulfed by death and decay

Levied Hope

Our abysmal trophies
Transcend the gluttonous mist
In sparkling gems they shine bright
They echoe with fear
The echoe of death

A smooth breeze swept by

A smooth breeze swept by,
It dazzled my red roses
Till their old thorns bled

Long Nights

In this long night
Every thought I try to write
Truth is the only thing left from my rite
I search for something that'll give me flight
An eerie escape from this thoughtful blight
Let's just hope I can end it without a fight.

Eau De Nil

The aqueous Hapi son of Horus
to whom the old pharaohs prayed.

Let not the plagues of old siege life,
for the years have passed ceaselessly
and you have joined the forgotten.

No longer are you among us,
nor have you ever been,
nor shall you ever be.
